demarcations was developed as part of Cityspaces (a Start artist group initiative) and was part of my ongoing artistic research.
The work addressed the notion of the "boundary", land intrusions and obstructions developed through art actions of translocation, travel, street action, photography and repositioning the art work. A plastic enclosure was constructed in a roof shed encasing a record of actions through photographic images. These were re-photographed by street barricades back in their place of origin.
The work was relocated into the original installation, as a way to question the limits and process of the metamorphosing art object.
